Painting Class

Looking for something fun to do in North Park, San Diego on a weekend? Come paint oversized, abstract art! (No experience needed.) You choose the image you want to paint and bring it to life on our magical front porch (AKA, the studio).

We’ll be painting BIG - 40” x 30" (trust me, it’s easier that way). With the right inspo image, and some guidance, you can create something beautiful, even if you have “no artistic ability.” (Spoiler: you do - it’s just shy.)

The 3-hour class is $150. It includes:

  • lots of personal attention (just three people per class)

  • a huge, heavy-duty stretched canvas

  • high-quality brushes, palette knives, modeling paste and paint

  • snacks and drinks

  • a lovely sheltered, outdoor studio

  • step by step instruction (and a rescue, if needed)

  • a stunning piece of art (made by you) to hang in your home

  • fun conversations about life

  • great music

  • satisfaction guaranteed

A $50 deposit holds your spot. The deposit is taken via credit card when you book, with the balance due the day before class. The deposit is non-refundable, but the time slot is reschedulable (with more than two days’ notice) if you run into a conflict.

Please note, if you’re coming with a painting partner, you each need to book a spot individually.

Yes, weekends are booked up for quite some time. If you can come during the week during the day with at least one other person, please LMK and I’ll put a class on the calendar just for you.
